She is a primordial deity in the ancient Greek pantheon and considered as a Mother Goddess, who creates and nourishes all living. At the same time she is a deity of death, who receives the human beings after their death. Moreover, she appears as a goddess of vengeance and prediction. But her most important attribute is that of a blessing issuing mother.
