This talisman combines three of the most important Egyptian protection symbols: the scarab, a lucky beetle which was said to resemble the sun-god Cheper, the ankh, symbol of life, and the Eye of Horus which was believed to ward off the evil eye. All three of these are strong protective charms and power symbols of Egyptian gods.
