Product information "etNox-pendant "Tuareg Cross" 925 silver"
TUAREG CROSS
The Tuareg are a Berber nomadic people living in the Western Sahara. Some of them became famous as warriors, bandits, heroes, or poets. The patrimony of every Tuareg family amongst other things consists of silver amulets which they use as means of payment. Moreover, those amulets have a symbolic value as charms and talismans with protecting power. In the tradition of the nomadic people the Tuareg Cross – originally handed over from father to son – indicates the strength and maturity of the young man and symbolizes the four wind directions.
